6 Christmas Treats. A little something from us to you.

The holidays are almost here. NYC is freezing, Christmas Carols can be heard in every corner, and Rockefeller Center boasts it’s larger than life, dazzling tree, to every passserby’s delight. I have always loved the Christmas spirit in this city, very different from Christmas in Lima, where, for starters, it is summer. But an 80ºF temperature has never stopped us from drinking hot chocolate, or decorating houses, stores, and streets with well wrapped-up Santas, fake trees, and even fake snow (this is the closest we ever get from real snow).

Today, we have lots of reasons to celebrate, and Christmas and New Years are just the cherry on the icing. We are also celebrating our 60th post, and our 8th month blogging, so we have a very special gift for all of you. You really have been wonderful throughout these 8 months, motivating us to bring better quality content every time, and showing us that people out there are interested in Peruvian food, and that we should keep spreading the word about it. So are you ready for a surprise?

We are proud to give you our first eBook, 6 Christmas Treats, downloadable for free to all our suscribers. This alone, is a reason of its own to celebrate today, as we have been wanting to get an eBook out to you for quite a while now, but didn’t really have a clue how to do it. And we still wouldn’t have a clue if it wasn’t for the amazing work of our design/tech team (Alex and Rachel, you rock!). It is thanks to them that we can finally give you these 6 Christmas Treats, with recipes for your holiday celebrations.

Included in this eBook are:

Puff Pastry Cones with Aji de Gallina

Quinoa Salad

Christmas Rice

Pisco & Aguaymanto (Goldenberry) Cookies

Maná

Sol y Sombra (Pisco cocktail)

We hope you enjoy our eBook, and look forward to your comments and suggestions, and would also love to know how the recipes turn out when you make them. Now, what are you waiting for? Go download your Peru Delights eBook… and spread the love!
