With so many recipes out there featuring the mighty quinoa as the main ingredient, it´s a good idea to start with the basics: cooking quinoa. This is one of the easiest things in the world, and you only need a few minutes to have as much quinoa as you need, ready to use in hundreds of dishes and even beverages.
Once it’s cooked, quinoa can be stored in an air tight container in the fridge for several days. When you have it ready like this, you will feel inspired to use it more often, which is great for you and your family.
We like to cook quinoa of several colors, either on their own or combined to make a colorful pilaf. Keep in mind that white quinoa is more tender than the red or black varieties, which take a few minutes longer to cook.
